Nick Moen – Chief Executive Officer

Nick Moen has been Quantem’s Chief Executive Officer since 2017.  During his time at Quantem, he has led the team in successfully acquiring Graincorp Liquid Terminals (Australia) which expanded Quantem’s footprint across the Australian bulk liquid terminals market.

Nick has significant strategic leadership experience in driving sustainable transform change in complex businesses.  He’s a senior executive with over 20 years strategic and operational experience, and has worked in Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom.

Prior to joining Quantem, Nick held senior roles at other companies including Chief Operation Officer with United Petroleum, and various senior roles in BP including Vice President of Transformation.  Nick’s early career was spent in leadership positions with the NZ Navy.

Nick holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Auckland, a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from the Melbourne Business School and is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Scott Barnett – Chief Financial Officer

Scott Barnett is Quantem’s Chief Financial Officer and has been with Quantem since January 2018.  Scott is an experienced finance executive with substantial experience in complex industrial environments.

Scott has broad commercial experience, being involved in several key transactions, successful infrastructure integrations and delivering year on year business growth.

Scott has led diverse finance teams across multiple geographies and worked in various industry sectors.  Prior to joining Quantem Scott worked in senior finance roles at AGL and Cargill Inc.  Scott holds a Bachelor of Commerce and is a member of CPA Australia.

Marissa Moraitis – Chief Supply Chain Officer

Marissa initially joined Quantem in September 2019 as procurement manager until 2023, before subsequently rejoining the Company in January 2025. As Chief Supply Chain Officer, Marissa is responsible for Quantem’s Operations, IT, Distribution, Procurement, and Property functions.

Marissa has wide-ranging experience in senior procurement and contract management roles in national and global organisations across various industries and sectors, including the South Australian Education Department, Downer (including Spotless Group), BP, and BAE Systems Australia.

Marissa holds Master of Supply Chain Management from Melbourne Business School and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Adelaide.

Ilona Misa – Chief People Officer

Ilona Misa is the Chief People Officer and has been working with Quantem since 2019.  She brings to the role more than twenty years of experience building high performing, efficient organisations and teams that enable business growth, an improved culture and increased capability with a strong  focus on safety.

Prior to the role at Quantem, Ilona held various senior executive positions across a range of industries including Executive General Manager HR and Corporate Affairs at Ixom, General Manager of Human Resources at Orica and Human Resources Director roles at George Weston Foods, Linfox and Fairfax Media.

Ilona holds a Bachelor of Business (Human Resources Management) and a Graduate Diploma of Engineering Management.

Gillian Wong – General Counsel & Company Secretary

Gillian Wong has been with Quantem since January 2020 and is Quantem’s General Counsel and Company Secretary.

Gillian is a commercial lawyer and governance professional with over 20 years of experience working in the Asia Pacific region, in a range of industries, including construction, mining and finance.  Prior to working at Quantem, Gillian held senior roles at St Barbara Limited, National Australia Bank Limited and Mallesons Stephen Jacques (now King & Wood Mallesons). 

Gillian is a member of the Governance Institute of Australia, Australian Institute of Company Directors and Association of Corporate Counsel.

Michael Jennings – Chief Health, Safety & Environment and Assets Officer

Michael joined Quantem in late 2024 and is Quantem’s Chief HSE and Assets Officer.   This role includes Quantem’s Health, Safety & Environment responsibilities and also the Company’s Engineering, Assets, and Major Projects functions.

He has extensive experience in senior HSE roles in national and global organisations and more than 25 years in the oil and gas, mining, chemical manufacturing, industrial explosives, and oil refining industries.  Michael also has considerable experience in technical, operational and supply and distribution functions.  

Most recently, Michael was in a dual global role with Incitec Pivot Limited as Vice President – Health, Safety, Environment and Risk for the Incitec Pivot Fertilisers and Dyno Nobel Asia Pacific (including Europe, Middle East and Africa) business units. 

Michael holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Applied Chemistry) and a Graduate Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety (Distinction) and is a Certified OHS Professional (COHSProf) with the Australian Institute of Health and Safety.  In addition, Michael is completing a Master of Business Administration.

Vince Sapuppo – Chief Corporate Development Officer

Vince was appointed Chief Corporate Development Officer in October 2024 and brings substantial experience in commercial, strategy, mergers and acquisitions.  He is responsible for strategy, business development and M&A and also Quantem’s Commercial team and New Zealand operations.

Prior to Quantem, he served as Chief Financial Officer of Roxgold Inc., General Manager Finance at Beach Energy, General Manager M&A at Newcrest and over 10 years with BHP in various senior finance roles including VP Group Planning and Divisional CFO.

Vince holds a Bachelor of Commerce and is a Chartered Accountant
