Executive Leadership Team
Nick Moen – Chief Executive Officer
Nick Moen has been Quantem’s Chief Executive Officer since 2017. During his time at Quantem, he has led the team in successfully acquiring Graincorp Liquid Terminals (Australia) which expanded Quantem’s footprint across the Australian bulk liquid terminals market.
Nick has significant strategic leadership experience in driving sustainable transform change in complex businesses. He’s a senior executive with over 20 years’ strategic and operational experience, and has worked in Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom.
Prior to joining Quantem, Nick held senior roles other companies including Chief Operation Officer with United Petroleum, and various senior roles in BP including Vice President of Transformation. Nick’s early career was spent in leadership positions with the NZ Navy.
Nick holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Auckland, a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from the Melbourne Business School and is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Scott Barnett – Chief Financial Officer
Scott Barnett is Quantem’s Chief Financial Officer and has been with Quantem since January 2018. Scott is an experienced finance executive with substantial experience in complex industrial environments.
Scott has broad commercial experience, being involved in several key transactions, successful infrastructure integrations and delivering year on year business growth.
Scott has led diverse finance teams across multiple geographies and worked in various industry sectors. Prior to joining Quantem Scott worked in senior finance roles at AGL and Cargill Inc. Scott holds a Bachelor of Commerce and is a member of CPA Australia
Steve Rasdell – Chief Operating Officer
Steve Rasdell commenced with Quantem in March 2020 and is Quantem’s Chief Operating Officer. Steve is responsible for all Australian Terminals including Operations, Major Projects, Engineering, Maintenance and Procurement.
Steve brings significant experience having worked in senior commercial management roles in Industrial ASX top 50 and private equity environments, most recently at Orica and Ixom. Steve was responsible for overseeing the marketing, sales, manufacturing, operations and supply chain functions whilst being accountable for the development and delivery of the business strategy. Steve brings to this role over twenty-five years’ experience in the chemicals industry.
Steve holds a Bachelor of Applied Chemistry and a Masters of Applied Science from RMIT University.
Ilona Misa – Chief People Officer
Ilona Misa is the Chief People Officer and has been working with Quantem since 2019. She brings to the role more than twenty years of experience building high performing, efficient organisations and teams that enable business growth, an improved culture and increased capability with a strong focus on safety.
Prior to the role at Quantem, Ilona held various senior executive positions across a range of industries including Executive General Manager HR and Corporate Affairs at Ixom, General Manager of Human Resources at Orica and Human Resources Director roles at George Weston Foods, Linfox and Fairfax Media.
Ilona holds a Bachelor of Business (Human Resources Management) and a Graduate Diploma of Engineering Management.
Gillian Wong – General Counsel & Company Secretary
Gillian Wong has been with Quantem since January 2020 and is Quantem’s General Counsel and Company Secretary.
Gillian is a commercial lawyer and governance professional with over 20 years of experience working in the Asia Pacific region, in a range of industries, including construction, mining and finance. Prior to working at Quantem, Gillian held senior roles at St Barbara Limited, National Australia Bank Limited and Mallesons Stephen Jacques (now King & Wood Mallesons).
Gillian is a member of the Governance Institute of Australia, Australian Institute of Company Directors and Association of Corporate Counsel.
Ross Napier – Chief Commercial Officer
Ross Napier commenced with Quantem in 2017 and is the General Manager Commercial. Ross is responsible for commercial strategy, sales, and marketing across Australia.
Ross has extensive industry experience in all aspects of terminal management including: end to end management of supply chain incorporating shipping, terminal activities, road freight and end use of products to mining operations, resellers, oil trading and retail operators, in the domestic and international markets. Prior to joining Quantem, Ross was Country Manager for Glencore Oil and was responsible for the Australian operations and General Manager for Supply Chain at Freedom Fuels. Ross has also worked in senior management commercial roles at Vopak.
Ross holds a Diploma in Business Studies (Operations) and is a member of the Bulk Liquid Industry Association.
Ryan de Munk – General Manager Health, Safety & Environment
Ryan de Munk has been with Quantem since April 2018 and is Quantem’s General Manager Health, Safety and Environment. Ryan is responsible for ensuring the safe operation of our Terminals.
Ryan brings significant HSE experience to Quantem with over 20 years of health and safety experience having worked in both listed and private companies in a range of high-risk industries such as mining, chemical manufacturing and storage, transport and energy. Prior to joining Quantem, Ryan held the position of ANZ HSE Manager at Nufarm.
Ryan holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (OHS) from RMIT and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Adelaide
